alright, so, time travel. if there ever was going to be time travel it would have already been invented. and the world we are living in today is the direct result of that event.

two things to think about:

a) say you go back in time, you take your first step out onto soil never touched by a human foot. you accidently step on an ant hill though. and because of this, you subsequently made it possible for china to invent the atomic bomb in 1300 ce, and they conquer europe. way to go.

b) i couldnt go back and kill hitler in 1935 tonight if time travel was possible. id go back in time alright, but it wouldnt be physically possible. because killing him would have already happened. when i got back to my time, i would have no knowlegde of a hitler taking over europe. but i wouldnt have killed him. because it would have all ready been done before i thought of it. by my previous self. my self without a world terrorizing hitler.

you can change the future because it hasnt happened yet. but it has. the future for me hasnt happened yet. but for someone whos looking back on my time the future already has. but for him it hasnt happened yet, but for someone looking back on him, it has....does that make sense?
