our first year depended heavily on the absence of a television. in that, without it, we had to come up with things to do to entertain us. for example, dressing brain up like a ninja and taking pictures of him cutting up the tree in our backyard with a katana sword. or taking pictures of brain farting repeatedly on the couch. or throwing water balloons at passing cars. or making dry icebombs. or stealing flag poles.

the second and third years came with television, and new roommates. perhaps school got a little harder and more time consuming. perhaps the internet suddenly came to life with addictive qualities previously unknown. maybe television really is just that captivating. whatever the reason, it typically was only alcohol or marijuana that spurned creativity. and this usually in the form of destruction. for example, the lighting of couch cushions on fire. drawing with permanent markers on a couch that was not ours. hiding rotting food under beds. spraying mace upstairs. punching walls. pooping, lots of pooping. spider fights. parties. and a flurry of failed physical/sexual challenges.

but year four brought with it a different form of creativity. there were no fights, no poop jars, nary a waterballoon. the bulk of entertainment during this span of time came from the ridiculous and absurd scenarios conjured up by justin michael davis and benjamin paul hemson. so far removed from the actual plot or storyline of the television/movies their creativity strayed that they delved into the darker pits of the human mind and always found a connection with sodomy, rape and homosexuality. show after show, movie scene after movie scene. a relentless banter on the what-really-happened, and the behind the scenes and the alternate endings. for hours. some of the most bizarre and disturbing images, occasionally acted out in a graphic display of pelvic thrusts.

some of the most hilarious creativity ive ever seen at work, and will continue to see well into the future....
