its been nearly three months since i was fired. tonight i was pleasantly tickled with this text message from heather:

so work meeting just now...you were mentioned and not allowed to be ever again....you should be proud. the legend of the streaker lives on in our hearts!

so upon further investigation, apparently i am still so much a part of the workplace discussions that angela, the store manager, had to mention something at an employee meeting. she said something about it not being allowed to discuss my firing anymore. that what i did was a gross error in employee conduct, and that she was sorry if it put anybody in a difficult position (ie the person who ratted me out) but that it would be considered gossip if i was discussed anymore. that she was tired of hearing people talk about it. or something like that. i find that exceptionally flattering.

now if only that sort of publicity could get me a fucking job.
