thursday of last week i sensed trouble inside my body. my throat was mildly sore, and i knew that disease was coming. by friday it had hit full force: fever. body aches. headache. violent cough. nasal congestion. loss of appetite.

this didnt stop me from going out downtown until 3 am however.

the following day at work, i was miserable. i had been coughing so much that my abdominal muscles were in unrelenting pain. and the cough was merciless. so i went out again that night as well until 230 am.

it wasnt until tuesday or wednesday that the appetite returned, the fever broke and the soreness lifted. the cough and sore throat remained, but i figured their morale was weak and it was only a matter of time.

its now nearing friday. the cough is not giving up as easily as i had thought. im pretty sure i must have had something terrible this past week. like meningitis or tuberculosis or gangrene. something that would have killed someone of normal immune system strength. however, with my superior bacterial resistance, it struck me down as no worse than a common flu. but goddamn that cough. this cough is determined. hes in this to win for his team. im getting annoyed.

im hoping it will lose interest any day now.
