"pssssst, pssssst!" i was trying to get the attention of a young girl carrying a banjo through the MU. "pssssst!" she looked around, then finally over at me. "what?" she rudely replied. in my head i suddenly lost about 87 points of respect for her. "are you pretty good?" i asked motioning to her banjo when she hesitantly agreed to approach. "yeah, im ok. im playing in the lounge." "can i come watch?" i asked innocently, the goofiest grin i could muster slapped across my face."uh yeah its free." i was a nusance. i would later discover why. so i nodded my head gleefully. oh id see her alright. id see her indeed. i finished my meal with chad and proceeded to the lounge. a girl on the piano was singing. my banjo girl and her guitar hugging friend were tuning. i sat down. a song later i went to look for the banjo girl to talk with her. she was gone. jordan had been stood up.

so i left to do some video editing with chad only to return to discover my banjo girl now brandishing a guitar. there was no banjo in sight. this girl was not scoring any points with me. so i listened to two songs with chad.

"i just want to thank you all for coming, its good for us, for us women, to just sit down and let whatever the hell we want come out of our mouths." suddenly a wave of "aw shucks" came over me. i had been set up. it had been a clever trap! and it had worked!

im not a big fan of women groups. groups of women who deem themselves oppressed, persecuted and unfairly socially catagorized. i just dont think they have anything to say that a guy hasnt felt. i dont think they feel things any differently than a man. i dont think that women are any different then men. except for the fact that through the course of time and natural instinct, men have been predetermined to be the dominant sex of our race. deal with it.

"it would have been nice if at the end, after she played her last song, instead of saying thank you for coming and things about women, she was like, 'well i thank you for coming, i really appreciate the support during our worship of satan'".

way to go chad.
