not just yet. have baby. stay at home. it will work this way. its how its supposed to be. get used to this first. then get used to us later. school. work. baby. this will work. its going to be fun. its going to be wonderful.

she needs to make money. she needs to pay rent. pay bills. other people wont want her and a baby getting a free ride off them. she needs to know that. i need to express it.

this can work if she rationalizes the choices she has to make, instead of what she wants. its not going to be fair. it hasnt been for me yet.

once me and brian gave ben folds a pillsbury doughboy doll. as a gift after a concert. a great concert. then, years later, once again standing in front of ben folds, brian and i asked him, "do you remember us giving you a pillsbury doll?"

"uh, hm...wait yeah, yeah i do." he said smiling.
