this is in response to a video someone posted on youtube.com, mocking my chemical romance. seriously, im shocked and apalled. this is how most people type online. this has become the lingua franca of our youth, ages eight to twenty eight. this is not acceptable. this is not english. abbreviations do not constitute communication. the fact that this type of text based language is so prevalent is depressing and seriously needs to end. ive had professors tell their classes not to turn in papers with this language, because it happens so frequently. can you believe that? college kids turning in papers....using abbreviations like u for you, y for why and wut for what. omgs, lols, rofls, idk, ttyl.....enough. please.
