now i fancy myself a wingman for those that travel via bicycle. i used to live with an avid cyclist (and by cyclist i mean someone who had a nice bike but preferred to run instead. his father was a cyclist though.) i myself plan to ride a bicycle around the downtown area at some point. i like you guys. youre good folk.

but lately, here in the SE area of portland, ive grown weary of their inconsiderate antics. well, just the hipster ones. yeah, you guys. in the dreads. with the retro librarian glasses. with the brown corduroys. you assholes.

yes, i understand that they are operating a vehicle and that i am recommended to share the road with them. yes i approve of them doing their part to combat global warming. but listen dickwads, unless youre wearing a brightly colored skin tight outfit and pedaling with the speed of traffic, move aside. if its 11 o clock at night and youre out cruising the streets already chock full of parked cars, get on the goddamn sidewalk for three seconds so that i can pass you. im not interested in following behind you on your sunday drive at 15 miles per hour. i want to get home. all you have to do is pull up on the sidewalk at the next intersection, and then after ive passed drop down back onto the road from a driveway. smooth. effortless. goddamn you.
