im becoming increasingly more excited about my first family vacation: to arizona. julie. myself. ashton. so that we can stay with the aunt who so cordially stated to sarah so long ago: "its nice to meet you finally, but we are all just so devastated."

...in regards to her being pregnant.

we will ride vespas down winding empty desert roads, ten years before a massive housing development fills it all in with multimillion dollar mansions.

we will catch spiders. lizards. snakes. we will actively search for javalina. scorpions. roadrunners.

there will be sunbathing and pool swimming.

our little rental car will take us to downtown phoenix, scottsdale, to zoos and old friends.

i do look forward to such things.
