she sings while i scan the craigslist classifieds. the infectious lullaby eases me into the state of oregon job listings. i may or may not sing along. im seeing an increase in the variety of jobs, which is encouraging. i inquired about another research study. i contacted ITT technical institute following a conversation with brian kinney. my coffee has grown cold, but ill consume it regardless. this is a standard morning. trying to locate a job that fulfills only a few key requirements:

- location. tigard. tualatin. sherwood. portland.
- time. i have to be at least able to get ashton to school, so nothing before 830 am.
- wage. i need at least $13 to $15 an hour.

ok, id be willing to work for a slightly less lucrative wage. but unfortunately that leaves me with canvassing. or phone sales. i need a masters degree. i need cpr training. i need a food handlers card. im going to seek out these next week when im back on top of my finances. im more optimistic about finding a job than i have been, but unfortunately the $100 bills that are now promised to my grandfather, health insurance, child support, car insurance, bills, credit card, rent, food and gasoline are more demanding than ever.

the ideal job would be one that starts at 9. requires lifting. getting my hands dirty, but not my clothing. something that deals with people and verbal information transfers. i want something that has an end result or some sort of closure, instead of an endless stream of papers to file and documents to redirect. its out there. i know it.

i wonder if the business card route is a good investment for my side projects.

guilt and laziness compete for the emotion of the day. most often its a tie. i hope brain succeeds with his stock trading, it may be another avenue to attempt. ill consider dipping my toe into it with his insight. ben has dabbled. if ben can do it, i can do it. and ill do it with a kai ryssdal voice.

create. invent. imagine. write. i can do that, but i dont. see paragraph above.

shave. shower. i have two aquariums to clean. ill make $150. and then immediately give it to someone else.
