it started innocently enough.

my boss suggested i go through thedirty.com. a website where people post pictures of people they feel are overtly promiscuous or excessively douchey. so you see lots of girls in compromising situations or attire, lots of hypermuscular dudes with fake tans and greasy hair and verbose descriptions of why everyone else should participate in the assassination of their character. it was mildly entertaining gossip fluff. but based on the caliber of people i was seeing, i had a feeling either sarah or her ex dusty would be present somewhere within the walls of this slanderous crypt.

so i did a little search for sarah. nothing. so i tried dusty.

first thing that pops up:

nice. an alleged rape by an alleged club promoter who happens to be named dusty. his twitter handle contained names i recognized from court documents. so i went to twitter to find a profile or anything confirming my suspicions. "sticking feathers in your butt doesnt make you a chicken."

bingo. sarah and dusty both had this phrase on their myspace pages ever so long ago.

so i went back to thedirty.com and read on. my understanding is dusty slept with some VH1 hasbeen, took pictures of her passed out as evidence and then touted them on thedirty. then either she claimed rape out of morning after remorse or some competing promoter used the story to stir up conflict. promoters are cut throat pirates apparently. i went through sixty pages of portland specific posts after this looking for dusty, sarah or, allah willing, anyone else i knew. to my disappointment i found nothing of sarah. i was certain id find something. meh. i did eventually find a post about someone i went to highschool with named ruth...but the real meat and potatoes came from another dusty post. whatever the post was about was irrelevant, more intriguing were the comments others began posting about him. and eventually about sarah. after spendng time on thedirty, i feel there is an entire subhuman group of soulless individuals that must continually monitor this website. especially immediately following a night out on the town. additionally, an even lower subset of subhumans that feel compelled to not only look but to also contribute to discussions under posts involving or not involving them. this is where i found my information about sarah. i understand that this could be easily dismissed as vulgar slander, conjured up by someone hoping to inflict some level of emotional harm. however, im sure many of these people posting have a remarkable amount of additional information about circumstances involving sarah and dusty that i will never fully be able to appreciate. here were some of the interesting tid bits of gossip that have enhanced my understanding of the beginning of 2010 for sarah:

drugsown says: She is locked up for drug selling and drug possesion. She along with many others use that place to sell drugs. she danced once a night or so to cover it all up. now she is kid less and doesnt even have a home to live in. idiot.

Sabrina says: actually she checked into a drug rehab clinic cause she got caught trafficking oxycontin and later heroin was found at her house with intention to sell. She was selling it out of that strip club. She is still locked up right now. I think Dusty broke up with her months ago and took the kid away legally from her months ago.

such lovely things to read about the mother of your child. ugh. again, most of it could be speculation and heresay. but it also sheds some new light on a tired tale.
