03.27.11 - 5:48 pm 2003 Kia Rio PARTS or Weekend Project - $1000 (Tualatin) This 2003 Kia Rio has a BRAND NEW timing belt, a BRAND NEW cam shaft sensor, a BRAND NEW crank shaft sensor AND a full tank of PREMIUM GASOLINE! However, there is some damage to some valves in the engine that will need to be replaced before the car will run properly or at all. In order to see what valves and how damaged, something about the engine block cover needing to be removed needs to happen. I suppose after 100, 000 loyal and dependable miles, any car would need a good thorough examination and repair. Beyond that minor obstacle, the car is white, has some driver side front corner bumper damage, and plenty of life left on the tires. I'm pretty sure two of them were just replaced late last year. She was a great ride and I adored her smooth acceleration, trustworthy responsiveness and generous gas mileage. She has had but two humble owners. It's time I pass the torch however. She still has some fight in her, she just needs a forgiving new owner willing to invest in some untapped potential. A great weekend project for a teenagers first car or strip her down, gut her for parts. She has thousands. Millions even. Make me an offer.
