saturday came and went with my complete ignorance to its importance. i knew, just from reading older entries, that it was somewhere close. but just today, am i remarking on it.

cody was killed a year ago.

i guess i started this with more to say, but now realize i dont.

except, that if i could fold today and september 9th, 2005 together, like two corners of a napkin, the sadness i feel and felt for the loss of my dog would not waiver or skip. the course of one year has not dampened my desire to still have him around. one year and two days can still feel like merely two days after his death. when i have enough money again one day, my first purchase will likely be that of a nice, stocky pure bred sheltie pup.

i love seeing how passionate people are of their shelties. i love seeing how they just glow when you start talking to them about their dogs.

they are a wonderful group of dogs those sea shelties.
