last night i dreampt i attended a church service. several people were there, mostly older adults. john helgesson was there.

...because it was right before his execution by the US government. in between hymns the sphinx would try to whisper to me from across this long table at the front of the church. the last thing he asked me before they stood him up and carried him away was, "do you want to go get some beer?"
