you come home after a fantastic evening with your best of friends...

...and just how much more wonderful would it be to have your little boy asleep in his bed, knowing you would get to see him so happy to be awake in the morning.

...and just how much more wonderful would it be to have his mother also asleep. in your bed. just as happy to see that youve come home to her.

i laugh because i know this will happen sometime soon. not his mother there. but someone.

but i smirk, knowing that whatever i imagine, if it occurs, is only temporary.
