today has been a remarkably beautiful day. julie and i picked out an aquarium stand for my future fish tank. i played some video games. slept in til nearly eleven. hung some curtains. removed the plastic trim from an aquarium. skipped through most of terminator 3. what a terrible movie. cleaned the house. installed an automatic plant watering system. ate some leftovers and now, at nearly seven pm i am enjoying a pbr in the last glowing rays of sunshine from my sun porch. the breeze is cool and steady. there are sounds of ashton and his friends playing basketball in the front yard. this place is incredibly beautiful. this climate is absolutely perfect. i think the locals forget how wonderful it is here.

last night there was an intense thunderstorm. i opened a bottle of wine and listened from my sun room. the rain poured in sheets of water. at times blasting through my open screen windows. the lightning splashed my walls in purple light. thunder echoed in my chest. i could do that every night.

tomorrow we get a dog.
thursday julie got new boobs.
monday i go back to work.

lets go somewhere next weekend.
